COSTANZA, CHARLES F. - of Ocean City and formerly of Smithville, passed away March 18, 2013. He was born in Rochester, NY on September 26, 1930. He was employed in banking operations throughout his career and served as mentor to several banking professionals. He attended Aquinas Institute and St. John Fischer College, honorably served in the US Army, a fan of the NY Yankees and Giants; he was also an outstanding semi-pro baseball player and a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon. Mr. Costanza is survived by the love of his life and best friend Josephine L. (nee Palmisano); he was treasured by his three children and their spouses Michele Horan (David), Mark Costanza (Debbie) and Mariann Storr (Scott); he was the devoted and loving grandfather of Jessica, Matthew, Luke, John, Alana, Lara, Thomas and Charles; surviving brother Anthony (Neysa); sister-in-law Josephine Palmisano; brother-in-law Joseph Marletta; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Mr. Costanza was predeceased by his parents Marco and Vincenzina Dentice Costanza and his sisters Lillian Buttaggi and Mary Marletta. Visitation will be Fri, March 22nd from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM and Sat, March 23rd from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Wimberg Funeral Home 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway, NJ (609) 641-0001.
