Alexander, Richard R. (Dick)  
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard R. Alexander, on June 18th, 2016. He is lovingly remembered by his family as a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and hospice staff who cared for him throughout his battle with cancer, and who made him comfortable in his final days. Missing you always; Gwen, Aron, Marnie, Gradyn, Sydney, David and Judy.

Assman, Kate  
ASSMAN, (Blackburn) Mary Kathleen (Kate) Born September 19th, 1919, we are saddened to announce the passing of our Mother, Gramma, Ol'Nana, and Great Great Grandmother, in the early morning of June 22, 2016, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband John Assman in 1976, she is survived by her son Herb Assman (Julie), and daughters Mary Jane Assman and Donna McBurney (Terry); as well as grand children Beverly Assman (Michael), Judy Neiser (Richard), and John Assman (Maureen), Joe McBurney (Kim), and Kate Zaytsoff (Ryan), great grand children Michael (Angie), Steven (Lauren) and Jennifer Neiser, Kenedy, Bowen, and Benett, Assman, Sean Noonan, Kaden, Hailey and Derek McBurney and Stella Zaytsoff and her great great grand daughter Gracen Neiser; and her brother Bill Blackburn (Bernie); and numerous nieces and nephews. A loving, caring, and beautiful person is now at peace - Heaven just gained another Angel. At her request there will be no funeral, a private family service will be planned at a later date.

Carlson, Torsten  
Torsten E. Carlson September 30, 1932 to November 5, 2015 Torsten Carlson passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2015 in the Simon Fraser Lodge, Prince George, surrounded by loved ones. Survived by his brother Walter, sister Edie, his 5 daughters and spouses: Lucy (Doug) Graham, Melody (Ben) Bodenham, Edith (Gord) Patalla, Kathleen (Dale) Olson & Elizabeth (Jim) Masterman. Last but not least his good friend: Rita Wakoluk. His many grandchildren: Carrie, Matt, Crystal, Timothy, Miranda, Steven, Tory, Stephanie, Ellissa, Delya, Kyrylo, Maryana & Maddison. Great grandchildren: Abby, Kayden, Kiah, Caitlyn, Tyrel, Rylie, Camille, Izic, Cassidy, Owen, Isaac, Noah, Shaniel, Gabreil, Kiran, Eden & Elly. He is predeceased by his parents: Alvar & Margret Carlson, brother: Evert Carlson, Sister-in-law: Kate Carlson, Loving Son: Kitson Harry Carlson & Cousin: Eddy Johnson. Torsten was born in Port Alberni, BC Canada. He moved with his parents to Eaglet Lake where the three brothers created the Lone Oak Ranch. He married Karen Vineyard and had 5 beautiful children. He married Silvana Sousa in 1976 and had a beautiful daughter, Elizabeth in 1977. The new family then moved to Sointula in 1981. He was a volunteer on the Fire Department. He was also a long-time member of the Lions Club and helped put the emergency phone line in Sointula. He worked for the Department of Highways and retired as Foreman in 1986. He moved back to Port Alberni 1999 and started Redford's Old and New with Rita Wakoluk. Due to Alzheimer's he moved back to Prince George 2009 to be close to family. As a young man he loved working with his father in the logging industry. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and exploring our great province of BC. He will be dearly missed by all who new him. Cokran, Loretta  
COKRAN, Loretta Merle (nee Sutherland) January 30, 1943 June 15, 2016 Loretta passed away peacefully at Shuswap Lake General Hospital Wednesday June 15, 2016. Loretta is predeceased by her father Ivan Sutherland, aunty Iva Surkan, husband John Cokran, brother Arnold Sutherland. She is survived by her daughters Michelle Rolfes (Barry), Tanya Cokran (Richard Marken), grandchildren Damon (Kendall), Helena, Jessica, Micheal and sister in law Kathryn Sutherland (Alisa and Ryan). Loretta was born in Armstrong BC and raised in Prince George and Armstrong. After marrying John and going on a one year tour of Europe they settled and raised their family in Prince George where she spent her working career with BC Hydro. She also spent countless hours working on their farm and many more hours supporting her daughters in their pursuits. She was a loving grandmother and loved to brag about her grandchildren. After retiring Loretta moved to Salmon Arm to be closer to her brother Arnold & sister in law Kathryn, a cherished friendship that shared many precious times together. Loretta will be remembered for her gumption, quick wit and love of Elvis. When we hear an Elvis song we will be thinking of her. The family would like to thank Dr. Bonthuys (Dr.B), the staff at Bastion Place and Shuswap Lake General Hospital for their care. There will be no service as per her request. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Huntington Society of Canada in Loretta's name. Arthur Hildebrandt , born December 23, 1932 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 29, 2016. Arthur was predeceased by wife, Sidra and is survived by his three children, Louis (Shanthi), Diana (Dieter), Norm (Tana), his eight grandchildren, as well as his brothers and sister. Arthur will be greatly missed by all. Please join us in celebrating Arthur's life. A service will be held: 10:30 Monday July 4th at Fort George Baptist Church, 1600 Johnson Street. Lewis, Terry  
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Terry Lewis, much loved son, brother and uncle. Terry is survived by his mother Joyce, sisters Debbie, Claudette and Sherry, brother Rick and companion Judy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Terry is predeceased by his father Claude and niece Racine. Terry loved life, which he lived to the fullest. He loved his family passionately and his friends deeply. Barbara Little (nee Loedel) Nov 7/1963, to. June 23/2016 Our angel has been awarded her wings and is now reunited with her parents in heaven. Cancer has deprived the world of yet another beautiful soul. Her final moments were at home with people who loved her by her side. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Marie Loedel. Survived by husband Harold, brothers: Henry , Dirk (Sue), sister: Audrey (Dipak). Nieces: Glenda, Denise (Jason), Marnie (John Paul), Sarah. Nephews: Arvin, Nathan, Rohan, Ketan. Great nieces: Ayden, Sophie. Great nephews: Jeremy. We will say goodbye to Barbara at 11 AM July 2 at Our Saviours Lutheran Church located at 3590 Duffrin Ave. (Ospika Blvd). With Pastor Fleming Blishen officiating. A very special thank you to the amazing medical community at our disposal. Doctors Textor, Riome-York, key, McNichol, Appleby, Wankling, Babcock, and Roberts. Thank you also to the working angels called nurses, who cared for Barb with tireless grace. Please know, how much Barb loved and appreciated your wonderful efforts.

MASIN (nee Gambato) Giuseppina Maria born July 30, 1930 Camponagara, Italy passed away June 19, 2016 with her family by her side. She is survived by her 3 daughters Wanda (Bruno) Bontorin, Bruna (Keith) Schnepf, Loretta (Darwin) McKinnon and 1 son Gianni (Theresa) Masin. Also surviving are numerous Grand-children, Great grandchildren and Great-great-grandaughter. She is also survived by 1 sister Elena in Italy. Giuseppina was predeceased by her husband Adriano (2008) her father Angelo and her mother Teresa and 5 siblings. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Fr. Ron Sequeira officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
