Desrosiers, Louis Adelard (Ted) . Born March, 24, 1920 in Saskatoon, SK. Ted passed away peacefully in his home in the early morning hours of January 1, 2014. The youngest of fourteen children Ted served in the Canadian Armed Forces in World War II; he returned home and successfully battled a case of TB contracted during his time in a prisoner of war camp. Ted and his family settled in the lower mainland before moving to Prince George in 1973. Ted is survived by his five daughters, Linda (Dale), Susie, Louise (Lenard), Terry (Bill) and April (Kevin). Ted is also survived by twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and caring neighbours. He was predeceased by his wife Isabel in 2004 and by his great grandson Cayden. Thank you to Dr. Grobbelaar and the Northern Heath home support workers for their care and compassion. A special thank you to the BC Ambulance Service and Prince George Fire Department crews who attended Ted's home on several occasions for their dedication and professionalism. No funeral by request, Ted's ashes will be placed next to Isabel's at a service to be held later this spring, date to be announced.
