Earl Dingwall April 6, 1941 - January 22, 2013 Earl was raised on the farm in Berwick, Ontario, shared his childhood with his identical twin, Beryl and five brothers. The twins were especially spoiled rotten by his Mother, Viola (Lang) and two wonderful sisters, Marion and Dorothy. His parents, Donald and Viola, we're kind and loving parents to the "twins" and they did their very best to keep them between the lines, which was never an easy task. The boys shared a friendship that went beyond brotherhood, and shared numerous adventures that are as entertaining to hear about today as they were fun then. Looking back, it is astounding that he survived so long..... Earl moved to B.C. in 1957 and began a new chapter of his life in the logging industry, where he carved a living out of the wilderness, as the story goes. Earl married Karen Clifford in 1961, and had four children, Dean (Sharon) - Kim - Corrine (Gary Allbee) and Darrell. Love you Dad.....save us a good seat....and we will see you again when the time is right. Earl met and married his wife, Annieta Gogolin, in 1980 and together raised her children, Irene (Henry) - Leslie ( predeceased 1996) -and Cindy-Lou (predeceased 1987). Earl leaves many behind who will miss him so dearly, none more than his loving grandchildren who provided him with endless entertainment~ he loved them and they cherished him in return-Rachel, Chris, Danielle, Bryan, Rebecca, Curtis, Josh and Sabrina. He also enjoyed very special relationships with many nieces and nephews, who always enjoyed spending time with Uncle Earl, sharing stories of his "glory days " ... Earl was predeceased by all of his brothers, his twin Beryl (Carol Countryman) James (Marion Dunbar), Donnie (Eleanor Byers), Robert (Sherrie), Doug (Claire) and Lindy (Laurie), but leaves behind his wonderful sisters and dear friends Marion Byers (Archie), of Crysler, ON & Dorothy Burd (late Allan) of Ottawa, ON. We will miss hearing all of the wonderful stories, but will cherish the memories we share, and he will live on in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held and we welcome you all to come and share your memories, join us at 1pm on Sunday January 27th, 2013, at The Royal Canadian Legion, 1335 7th Avenue. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to consider a donation to the PG Hospice House, where the special ladies Dad charmed in his final days worked tirelessly to help us when the time got small. We thank you, knowing that it fails to convey our sincere appreciation. You are angels among us. The family will hold an internment of ashes with his parents, Beryl, Robert and Donnie at a later date in Ontario. Move over John Wayne, the "Earl of Berwick "is on his way....
