"Z I G" ZSIGMOND BALOGH January 5, 1937 - June 13, 2013 Born in Tunyogmatolcs, Hungary, unexpectedly departed this life. Zig immigrated to Canada in 1956 making Prince George his home. He worked at Rustad Brothers until his retirement in 2003. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his loving son Victor, sister Elizabeth Mezo (Kelowna), nieces Sandra Mezo, Erika Wood (George) daughters Ashley, Amy, Lauren; Melinda Mezo, stepson Gabriel (Emese) and their son Connor, Sandor Mezo in Canada, nephews/ nieces Gabi Radvanyi (Robi) and family, Jancsi, Vera, Jozsef Madarassy and family, Miklos Madarassy and family, Sandor Madarassy, cousins and friends in Hungary, nepfews Jozsef Jutresa and family, Ferenc Jutresa in Sweden. Numerous friends, coworkers and neighbours who enriched Zig's life in Canada and became his extended family. Predeceased by his parents Miklos Balogh father, Balogh Miklosne Kerti Ida mother, brother Jeno, sisters Iren Madarassy, Viola Jutresa. A viewing will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 22 with a Celebration of life following at 2:00pm both at Lakewood First Memorial Funeral Home, 1055 Ospika Blvd. He will be dearly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
