Vera, I was truly sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband. We had just talked about him just a week or so prior and I saw him waiting ever so patiently for you during our last bout of bad weather. I know he did not want to leave you but GOD knew he was tired. May your memories of him live on. God Bless

To the Mitchell family and friends. Upon discovering the loss of your love one (Brother Mitchell), It is with deep sadness that i write this message regarding a dear Christian brother and friend.
please accept our sincere sympathy and condolences on behalf of Mount Calvary Baptist Church Deacon Ministry.
During the past two years, off and on, when his health permitted, Brother Mitchell faithfully attended Bible Study and assisted the Deacon Ministry at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Hopewell by visiting and ministering to the sick. He was a blessing in disguise. The Deacon Ministry was moved by his compassion and motivation for the Lord. Brother Mitchell was a fine servant/ gentleman.
Brother Mitchell often spoke of the Lord and and his family with sincerity. He will be greatly missed. Well done good and faithful servant.
We love you, but our Saviour loves you more. Rest in peace!

To the Mitchell family, May you find comfort in knowing that others care about what you are going through at this time. We last saw & talked with Al at the class of 78's reunion and as usual Al was Al! He was always open for conversation and a few laughs. His talkative character was welcomed by all he met. Just know that Al is at peace now, no more difficulties shall he endure, he's taking his rest. He shall truly be missed!

Al was a wonderful person and I believe that he is in a better place and has no more pain. But I feel so very sorry for his family. A family which I feel very much apart of. I grew up with all of you and love you all like sisters and brothers. This family has truly been through so much in such a short time. Just know that God is always with you. He said that He will never leave or forsake you. In times like this remember to hold on to His everlasting love. God will see you through.

Mr. Al, while I did not know you personally, I had the opportunity to meet you a couple of times while visiting my cousin Annette. She would always talk about how nice you were, and how you guys looked out for each other as neighbors. Annette would often speak of you as an "uncle" that she admired. Annette and Tracie were both very fond of you and thankful to have had you as a neighbor, and most of all as a friend. May God comfort your wife and family during their time of bereavement. R.I.P!

Mrs. Vera the passing of Mr.Al was such a shock. I still look for him to be standing in the hallway, my heart is so heavy because Mr.Al was one of a kind, he always had an encouraging word for everyone. If he did not see me he would call and ask if every thing was okay, he looked out for his neighbors no matter what. To me Mr. Al was that favorite uncle you could always go to during the good and bad times.I know he has earned his wings and will be looking down on us all as a guardian angel. If there is anything I can do please let me know, I am here. Mr. Al you would always tell me It did not matter what the doctors said, you knew what your God said. I know on March 10,2014 when God called you home and greeted you as you entered heavens gates he said unto you Welcome home my Good and Faithful Servant! I will always have memories of your kindness and goodness you showed me "RIP" Mr. Al you will be truly missed!!
