It's times like this where one has to appreciate the life they have been given. To a former classmate of the graduating PHS class of 1987, Doreatha you will be missed. But we all know you were well prepared and you are now with the Lord. To your daughters and family left behind, stay strong and keep God first, as Doreatha would not have preferred it any other way. Now go and enjoy your eternal life, a place where many of us can only hope we will come know when it's our time. RIP Doreatha, the PHS Class of 87 will greatly mis you!

'Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted' - Matt 5:4
Kates Family -
I'm sending prayers of comfort and strength your way. Although I've never met any of you personally, I feel that I know the entire family through my friend, Diane. Especially Doreatha, with her annual birthday shout-outs and love for reaching out to others through technology.
Doreatha is at peace in the arms of the Father. I pray for peace for the family. That you may find comfort and joy in the great memories. That Mercedes and Sharnice continue in their mother's love and go forward in all that she's prepared them to become.
Strength, peace, comfort, joy, and love to the family!!!

Dear Mercedes and family:
It was with a much sadden heart when I learned of the passing of your mother, sister and aunt. I worked at DSS with Doreathea(fondly know as Doe) for eleven years and she was such a joy to be in the presence of. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend her homegoing celebration but I was their in spirit. My prayers will continue to be with you Mercedes as you continue to walk in the legacy that she left you: "To love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength and might.

Romans 8:38-39 states;
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,
neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love
of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We will never be separated from our loved ones because God's word is true.
We love and are praying for you all.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
