Aaron L. Eldridge

On Sunday, June 23, 2013, God in his infinite wisdom called home our beloved Mr. Aaron L. Eldridge, 65, of 403 Blackwater Drive, Petersburg.

Born Aug. 27, 1947, he was the son of the late Gloria E. Harrison and James Edmonds. He was also preceded in death by a son, Albert L. Tucker.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Jacqueline R. Eldridge; stepfather, James A. Harrison Sr. of Petersburg; one daughter, Cassandra "TC" Wiggins (James) of Petersburg; a son, Aaron L. Lewis of California; a stepson, Tony Robinson of Petersburg; six grandchildren, Samaul and Franchenet Eldridge, Sada, Ashley, Brittany and Willie Wyatt, all of Petersburg; 11 great-grandchildren; an aunt Mozzell Edmonds of Petersburg; a sister, Estelle Harrison (Jerome) of Petersburg; two brothers, Jawanza Salih (Betty) of Ohio and James Harrison Jr. (Sung) of Nigeria; two nieces, Taquewita Harrison of Petersburg, and Jasmine Harrison of New York; one nephew, Reginald Harrison (Nicole) of Petersburg; one great-niece, Terri Tucker and two great-nephews, Saquan and Kamari Harrison, all of Petersburg; sisters-in-law, Lois and Beverly Robinson, both of Petersburg; brothers-in-law, Herman, Roy, John (Cathy) and Jerome Robinson, all of Petersburg; and a host of cousins; other relatives; and friends.

The Eldridge and Edmonds family would also like to thank the staff of Golden Living Center-Battlefield Park for their hard work and dedication.

A funeral service for Mr. Aaron L. Eldridge will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg.
