Albert Suttle Jr., of Richmond, formerly of Petersburg, Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.

He was born in Richmond, the son of the late Albert and Grace Suttle. Mr. Suttle graduated from Brown University and then attended the Darden School of Business before coming home to work with his father at Master Chevrolet until it was sold in the '80s. He then went to work at Wheat First Securities and retired from Harris Financial. After retirement, he began to solely focus on his property management business.

Mr. Suttle is survived by his wife, Carol Suttle; four children Lesley Suttle, Rick Suttle and his wife, Melissa, Curry Spain and his wife, Pam, Carin McPhearson and her husband, Jeff; five grandchildren, Nick Suttle, Logan McPhearson, Brady McPhearson, Noah Spain and Cameron Spain; a sister, Grace Ellis Suttle; and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, followed by a graveside service at Blandford Cemetery at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23220.
