Cederic T. Lewis

Cederic T. Lewis, 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Alfred Jackson and Helen Edwards Lewis, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Budd, Lucille Lassiter, and one brother, Sterling Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a United States Air Force veteran, a retired builder in the Tri-City area for many years and an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Denny Lewis; sisters, Dorothy Stewart of Dinwiddie, Shirley Burton and husband, Richard, of Chesapeake, Virginia Savage and husband, Thomas, of Suffolk; brother, Franklin Lewis and wife, Mary, of Michigan.

Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Va., with Pastor Ron Newton officiating. he family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
