Edwin W. Wright

Edwin W. "Buddy" Wright, 46, of Dinwiddie, died Feb. 22, 2014.

He was the son of the late James W. and Lois S. Wright. Buddy was a truck driver and loved to drive his big truck down the highway. His son, Jacob, stayed by his side the past two years and took care of him. He was a loving husband and father and his grandchildren put a smile on his face and a glow in his eyes.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Miles Wright; sons, Jacob C. Wright, Charles W. Meeks III and wife, Crystal; daughter, Jeanette I. Putney and husband, Corey; grandchildren, Charles W. Meeks IV, Dallas M. Putney and Kelly Ann Meeks; and Michael Crowder, who was like a son to him. Buddy will be missed by all.
