Guy LaFreniere, 42, of Williamsburg, Va., unexpectedly passed away on Dec. 8.
He passed away doing what he loved and surrounded by friends. Guy was born in Abilene, Texas, but grew up in Petersburg, Va., graduating from Petersburg High School. He moved to Williamsburg as a young adult, and he lived there until his death.
He was loved by many and is survived by his wife, Tami LaFreniere, and son, Hunter; father, Jimmie LaFreniere; siblings, Eric, Jennifer, Nikki and Christian; and brothers of the heart, Eric Springsteen, Roy Stiefel and Donald "Bubba" Houchins.
He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. He joins his mother, Bernadette LaFreniere, who preceded him earlier this year.
A memorial service/celebration of life will be held at First Simple Church, 16401 Chickahominy Bluff Road, Williamsburg, Va., at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
