Mr. Harry O. Freeman, 74, of 337 Mallard St., Prince George, formerly of 614 South Adams St., entered eternal rest on March 7, 2013, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Freeman.

Harry was preparing for retirement from Virginia State University and the county of Chesterfield. He also had a passion to drive an eighteen-wheel tractor trailer truck.

Mr. Freeman is survived by one sister, Annette Whitaker (Thomas); nieces, Pamela Covington (Tyrone) of Richmond and Toni Judy (Joe) of Clarksville, Tenn.; nephew, Terry Martin (Shalonda) of Richmond; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

A service of remembrance will be 1 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2013, at the chapel of William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg; the Rev. Robert Barnes will officiate.
