Mrs. Ineda White Bullock-Grandison was received into eternal rest on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.

Ineda White Bullock-Grandison was born to the late Thomas White and Maude Jones White on June 5, 1929. She attended the Petersburg Public Schools.

Ineda accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Petersburg, Va., where she served faithfully as a deaconess. She also served on the Usher Board, the Mount Olivet Mass Choir, SAM ministry and the Home Healthcare Ministry. In the community, she was a Foster Grandmother at Virginia Avenue Elementary School, a member of Zeta Amicae, The Flower Garden Club and the TENT Organization. She retired from Allied Signal Corp. She was a former employee of Bellwood DCGS and Central State Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, James, Leroy, Lillian Bolton, Bertha Coulton, Richard, and Larry; and son, Roderick Lorenzo Bullock Sr. She is survived by her husband, Deacon Jack Grandison.

Through the union with her previous husband, the late Robert L. Bullock Sr., she leaves to cherish her memories, Norma Bullock Turner of Manassas, Va., the Rev. Robert L. Bullock Jr. and Patricia Bullock Lee of Petersburg, Va., Crystal R. Bullock of Richmond, Va., and Stephon K. Bullock of Sandston, Va..; stepchildren in her present marriage, Lawrence, the Rev. Gerald Grandison and Rita Jackson; one sister, Nellie Jane Proctor of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Thomas White Jr. of Riverside, Calif., Lewis White of Philadelphia; and one aunt, Catherine Thompson of Petersburg, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and devoted family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Petersburg, Va. The Rev. Wesley K. McLaughlin, pastor, will officiate. Family will assemble at 1923 S. Westchester Drive in Petersburg at 2 p.m. The family can be reached at 804-733-2876.
