Quintin WilliSachual Epps, 21, departed this Earth to join his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.
Willie was born in Petersburg, Va., on July 23, 1991, to Clinton and Tijuana Hill. He was educated in the public schools of Sussex County, Sussex, Va., and Elizabeth City, N.C. He enjoyed playing a variety of sports, fishing and reading books. He was employed by Family Dollar Store in Hertford, N.C. One of his biggest passions was the love of people.
Willie was baptized at an early age and attended the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church and New Calvary Church of Christ in Elizabeth City, N.C.
He leaves to cherish and carry on his memory: parents, Clinton Hill of Waverly, Va., and Tijuana Hill of Disputanta, Va.: four brothers, Tyjuan Epps and Clinton Epps of Waverly, Va., and Brandon Brown of Ettrick, Va., and Khalil Watson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Dominique Wilkins of Waverly, Va., and Amisha Epps of Petersburg, Va.; grandparents, Josephine Epps of Disputanta, Va., and Frances Blackwell (Reginald) of Waverly, Va.; four aunts, Elinor Amos of Douglasville, Ga., Karen Alex of Marietta, Ga., Michelle Thomas (Ricky) of Petersburg, Va., and Monique Winfield (Lewis) of Petersburg, Va.; two uncles, Kermitt Epps of Disputanta, Va., and Boris Blackwell (Tanisha) of Hopewell, Va.; seven nieces and three nephews, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, among them three devoted godmothers, Keisha Coleman, Danette Mychelle Harris and BJ. Rhodes; a special godson, Daquail Lewis (Booty) of Elizabeth City, N.C.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Disputanta, Va., with Pastor Kim Brown, the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, N.C., officiating. Interment will be in Union Baptist Church, Surry, Va. Public viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home, 137 Harrison St., Petersburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg; the Rev. William N. and Doris Bland Jr., Mr. James I. Gay and Mr. Antonio A. Tucker Sr., funeral directors.
