Randell Harold "Pop" Pulver Sr., 65, of Disputanta, passed away on March 15. 2014.

Born in Fort Lee, Va., he was the son of the late Arthur Sr. and Elsie Smith Pulver; and was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Lessie Smith; and three brothers, Buster, Donnie and Johnny.

"Pop" is survived by a loving family, including his wife and the love of his life for 47 years, Betty Sue Pulver; four children, Randell "Chip" Pulver Jr. and wife, Pennie, Rhonda Pulver and Rodney Deane, Donald Pulver and wife, Stacey, and Troy Pulver; 15 grandchildren, Angel, Blake, Christy, Tiffany, Tammy, Trey, Dwyatt, William, Chase, Bryanna, Wayne, Ciara, Justin, Brittany and Troy Jr.; 18 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Billy, Walter, Everett, Gloria and Lorraine; three sisters-in-law, Brenda, Bonnie and Kathie; one brother-in-law, Ricky England; special cousin, Terri Hollis and family; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at 8307 Boydton Plank Road, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Flowers are welcome, or contributions may be made to the in memory of Mr. Pulver.
