Daniel Jackson Obituary
Daniel was born on Dec. 31, 1944. He enjoyed fishing, people and sharing funny jokes with all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Reaves and Clementine Jackson; grandparents, Willie and Daisy Jackson; father-in-law, Herman Casey; mothers-in-law, Mary A. Casey and Gloria J. Casey; brother-in-law, Herman Casey, Jr. who passed on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010.
He is survived by a wife of 39 years, Mary Casey Jackson of Petersburg, Va.; sisters-in-law, Queen Crews and Ruth Casey Epps (Mack) and brother-in-law, James Casey (Debra) all of Petersburg, Va.; aunt, Edna Irene Jackson; uncle, Joseph Luster, cousin, Margaret Reaves Kirby and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
The family like to thank the following who contributed to Daniel's care: Emporia Nursing Homes, River View on the Appomattox, the Doctors and Staff John Randolph Medical Center, the Staff of Southside Regional Medical Center Dialysis Center and Kippax Apartments Managers and Staff. Also thank you to all the agencies, aides and staff that made his life complete on a daily basis and all others that helped in any way, and Pastor George Howard and Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church Family.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, the Rev. George Howard, pastor of Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, eulogist.
