Delores Lyons Obituary
She is survived by her son, Dr. George W.C. Lyons Jr.; daughter-in-law, LaCrechia H. Lyons; three grandchildren, Jessica N. Bailey, Maya E. Lyons, and Angela E. Lyons; one brother, Andrew J. Scott; three sisters, Beulah S. Brooks, Anna M. Gabriel and Mary Lea Lewis; two sisters-in law, Dorothy Scott and Mildred L. Reese and a host of other relatives, extended family, adopted children and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, at Gillfield Baptist Church, 209 Perry St., Petersburg, Va., with the Rev. Dr. George W.C. Lyons Jr., pastor, eulogist, and Pastor Darrell L. Armstrong, officiating. The interment will be held on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, in Inglewood Memorial Park, Inglewood, Calif.
