Frances Goodwyn Obituary
She was born on Aug. 20, 1915 Dinwiddie, Va., to the late Willie and Ruth King Scott.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Goodwyn; daughter, Yvonne Goodwyn; brother, Gene Scott; and sisters, Nellie Mae Robertson and Eva Scott.
Frances was a member of the Providence Baptist Church, Prince George, Va. She also attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Petersburg, Va.
Frances leaves to treasure her memory, three sons, Herbert (Lucille) Goodwyn of Dinwiddie, Va., John (Mary Jane) Goodwyn of Prince George, Va., and Willie Goodwyn of Petersburg, Va.; four daughters, Alberta Prince of Stoney Creek, Va., Gracie Massenburg of Emporia, Va., Glorine King of Ettrick and Mary Robinson, devoted daughter who she resided with; two devoted grandchildren who she reared, Carroll Goodwyn of Petersburg, Va., and Larry (Frances) Goodwyn of Prince George; grandchildren, Diane, Denise, Willie, Calvin, Jeff Carter and Curtis Prince all of Stoney Creek, Va., Patricia Morgan of Stoney Creek, Va., Patricia Corey and Linda Massenburg of Emporia, Va., Reginald King of Ettrick, Va., Orlanda King (Beverly) of Dinwiddie, Va., Tracy Lofton of Colonial Heights, Va., Ronnie White of Prince George, Va., Randy and Deon Goodwyn of Petersburg, Va., Crystal Goodwyn of Dinwiddie, Va., Timothy, Michael and Shawn Goodwyn of Prince George, Va., Shelton and Kenneth Goodwyn of Dinwiddie, Va., and Raynette Adams of Dinwiddie, Va., Robert Goodwyn Jr. of Petersburg, Va., and Tiffany Dugger of Maryland; devoted niece, Rose Robertson of Dinwiddie, VA; devoted niece, Rose Robertson of Dinwiddie, Va.; devoted foster daughter, Esther (Jerome) Robinson of Sutherland, Va.; a host of great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted caretakers, Mrs. Shirley Taylor, Patricia Locker, Virginia Hunter and Nakia Glosper all of Adult Health Care Solutions, Petersburg, Va.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 2223 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Va., with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Reaves, pastor, eulogist. The interment to follow at the Bonner Family Cemetery, Prince George, Va.
The family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel of the J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc.
The family will receive friends and assemble at the residence of Herbert and Lucille P. Goodwyn 23819 Dabney Mill Road, Dinwiddie, Va., and may be contacted by calling (804) 469-7503 or Mary Goodwyn at (804) 863-0701.

This is not a fair well,this is a home coming for the most loving and caring women,grandmother and mother . Words will never say how much you will be missed.
