DASHAWN T. MCKEEVER-ALLEN

Dashawn Timothy McKeever-Allen, age 27, of 123 North Burch Street, entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2018 at Southside Regional Hospital. He was born July 7, 1991 in Petersburg, Virginia to Timothy Jones, birth mother Angela McKeever and legal guardian and adopted Mother, Karen Allen.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, U.Butts, great-grandparents, George and Lucille McKeever Sr., grandparents, James Allen and Helen M. Bennett, and aunt, Lavern Walker.
He was baptized at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, Petersburg, Virginia. He graduated from Petersburg High School Class of 2008.
He is survived by son Ace Jackson, brothers Dantae Trotter, Tyvon Graise, Tory Allen all of Petersburg, Virginia, sisters Shavonta McKeever of Stony Creek, Virginia, Tiara McKeever of Henrico, Virginia, Anndrica McKeever, and Timisha Allen both of Petersburg, Virginia, grandmothers, Frances McKeever-Macklin of Petersburg, Virginia and Phyllis Jones of Stony Creek, Virginia, grandfather, Eddie Lee Hinton, Sr., godchildren, Ceazia Richardson, Dajawn Richardson Jr. and Jayla ""Rose"" Morgan, aunts, Candace McKeever-Bethea, Regina McKeever, Shirley Lee Nelson, Tasha Hinton, Jeanie Allen, Pauline Wyche and Tammy Figueroa, uncles, Leroy Jones, Aldwayne Jones, Eddie Hinton Jr., Leonard Allen, and Earl Allen, nieces and nephews whom he loved and spoiled, Javae, Jakell, and Jamayle McKeever, Talia McCall, Kasen Harris, Dantae Trotter Jr., Cameron Trotter, and Justin, Briana and Za'Nay Allen. A host of other family members, loved ones and many friends far too great to name, amongst them devoted cousins Dajawn Richardson Sr., Adrienne Richardson, Lorenzo Richardson, Demmetrus Richardson, Damar Richardson, Brian Richardson, Levon McKeever, Jamekia Taylor (Jason), devoted friends, Cory Batts, Anthony Jones, Rudy Sykes and Davon Harris.
Services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, 613 E. Wythe Street, Petersburg, VA., the Rev. Eli Melvin, Pastor and Rev. Merle Keene, eulogist. Interment will be held at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
The family will assemble 12 noon the day of the service at 17 St. John Court, Petersburg, VA. The family will also receive friends at 123 N. Burch Street, Petersburg, VA.
