Willie Blackwell Obituary
He was the son of the late Harry S. Blackwell Sr. and Rolette Blackwell.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Blackwell and Robert Blackwell, sisters-in-law, Inez Blackwell and Diane Blackwell and brothers-in-law, Henry Walker and Lawrence Morton.
He is survived by four sisters, Shirley Morton and Geraldine Santos, both of Yonkers, N.Y., and Doris Walker and Patricia Locker, both of Petersburg; four brothers, Harry S. Blackwell Jr., Earl Blackwell, Fletcher Blackwell and Carl Blackwell all of Petersburg; two sisters-in-law, Mable Blackwell of Petersburg and Margaret Blackwell of Hampton; two brothers-in-law, Willie Locker of Petersburg and Walter Santos of Yonkers, N.Y.; a host of aunts, uncles; 13 nieces; seven nephews; a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Tucker's Funeral Home with Dr. Antonio A. Tucker Sr. officiating. Relatives and friends will assemble at 2146 Walton St., Petersburg at 1 p.m. on the day of service. Services under the direction of Tucker's Funeral Home, 415 Halifax St., Petersburg.
