Hampton Rasnick Obituary

Hampton Hobert Rasnick, 82, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013. He was the son of the late Hobert and Milly Stanley Rasnick. He was also preceded in death by: three brothers and two sisters. Mr. Rasnick served his country proudly in the Navy on the USS Coral Sea.

He retired from Allied Chemical, Honeywell, after 40 years of service. Hampton enjoyed nature and the outdoors, and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by: his wife, Elsie Rasnick; daughters, Teri Hope and her husband, Robert Smalley, and Tamara Hayes and her husband, Keith; grandson, Adam Hayes and his wife, Lya; and granddaughter, Ashley Hayes; great-granddaughter, Olivia Hayes; brothers, Glen Rasnick and his wife, Hannah and James Rasnick and his wife, Donna; sister, Lucille Hewlett; numerous nieces; nephews; and extended family; and friends.

His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will be private.
