Harvey Jackson Obituary
He was the son of the late Ida Wheelhouse Jackson and Harvey N. Jackson Sr. Mr. Jackson was an electrician with B&W Tobacco Co., Rudy Hawkins and Star Tobacco.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rachel W. Jackson; two daughters, Melody E. Frazier and Laura Lee Selden; two granddaughters, Amy Masterson (Terry) and Bobbie Jo Tanner (Joe); five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Rachel, Savannah and Terry; a sister, Rose O'Berry.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Mr. John W. Tillett officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ettrick Matoaca Volunteer Rescue Squad, 5711 River Road, Petersburg, VA 23803, or Matoaca Fire Station #8, 21500 Pickett Ave., Petersburg, VA 23803. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

To all the Jackson family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Skeeters passing. We worked together at B & W and Star Tobacco until he retired. Skeeter always went out of his way to get the job done and to help others. I will miss "Biggy Little."
