I miss you so much Dad. I think of you and Mom all the time. Thanks for the penny's. Every one I see I absolutely know it's you and mom sending them to let me know your doing well up there. I love you both with all my heart and look forward to the day of reuniting with you again. God bless you both and God bless all of us still here on earth. We are going through some very trying times down here and could use all the prayers possible from heaven. The kiss of the sun for pardon, the song of the birds for merth, one is nearer God's heart in a garden, than anywhere else on earth. Love your baby boy,
John ❤

Grampops, I planted some flower seeds weeks ago but they're not growing. I put plastic wrap over the pot to keep the moisture in like you told me to do with the pepper plants, and the pot is in a sunny window, but it's not working. I wish I could call you and figure this out.
I also just read your post on Grammie's guest book from February 2009 and it was beautiful. I miss you two every moment of every day.

Dad, I still can't believe you are gone. We had so many fun times together and you taught us so much. You loved us and Mom more than anything else in this world. You lived a wonderful full life but wanted to continue to be with us and so you attempted, with great courage, to fight untill the end. God is lucky to have you in his kingdom and I know Mom is ecstatic to be reunited with you. Hope you can have a beautiful garden there and enjoy your rewards. EVERYONE who knew you said you were a wonderful man, friend or neighbor and we find comfort in knowing they felt the same way we do. We will miss you forever and will try to carry on in your footsteps. You were the best father ever, as Mom was the best mother, and we had a wonderful childhood and adulthood sharing with you both. I especially enjoyed spending time with you since Mom left us in November 2008. We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed great food and visits. Our weekend at the "Hooch" was a blessing that I will cherish. I love you will all my heart and miss you terribly! Cathie

Mark, you were the best neighbor we have ever had, and since we have moved once a year on average, we have had a lot of neighbors. We loved coming by and visiting, sharing dinners and enjoying the produce from your garden. I remember the St. Patrick's day you invited me to join your family - we had a great time (even though the corned beef was late - it was delicious ;-)

I can only hope that I was a good a neighbor to you, as you were to me. It was an honor knowing you. You'll be missed, rest well.

So plant your seeds for your veggies and cook away your first dinner in heaven with your longtime bride. Make it a special one and tell her jokes to keep her laughing. Say hello to my Auntie as I miss her to. And if you happen to see my father pass by give him a hug for me. Miss you Love Mosie your neice/adopted goddaughter
