Deanna Ballowe Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Edna Bryant and Olan Scarberry.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence A. Ballowe; two sons, Travis Hitson and wife, Robin, of Fishersville, Va., and Jeffrey Hitson and wife, Shawnda, of Dinwiddie; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Darrel Hitson Jr., Michael Lee Hitson, Renee Mae Hitson and Zachary Maximus Hitson; two sisters, Barbara Yvonne Catron and Ester Ellen Mac, both of Florida; two brothers, James William Scarberry of Florida and Drewey Donald Scarberry of Petersburg. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, with the Rev. David Praither officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

Dear Lawrence,
I am so sorry that you are having to go through this loss in your life. I know that you and the boys will make it through and that time will heal the void that has been left by Deanna's passing. I enjoyed the times that I was able to be with you all and getting to know her over the years.
