ANTHONY A. TUCKER

Mr. Anthony Antonio Tucker was born October 10, 1969, to Laura M. Tucker Davis and Alfred Smith, Jr. Anthony affectionately known as ""Amp"" departed this life suddenly Wednesday, November 30, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie Tucker, Daisy Davis (Fred) and Alfred Smith, Sr.; aunt, Gloria Tucker-Hargrave; and an uncle, Ronnie Tucker.

Anthony was very affectionate, caring and a friendly person that always gave a hand to anyone in need. Before he left or hung up the phone he would say, ""I love you"" and whenever you see him he would flash his beautiful smile.

Left to cherish his memories his parents, Laura M. Tucker Davis and Alfred Smith, Jr.; three children, Daja Jackson of Petersburg, Va., Josiah Sharp of Philadelphia, PA, and Nadiya Dennis of Hopewell, VA; three devoted sisters and brothers-in-law, Veronica H. Jordan (Demond), Denise H. Allen (Anthony) and Quita Lee of Petersburg, VA; two nieces, Megan Allen of St. Louis, MO, and Tasiya Lee of Petersburg, VA; one nephew, Anthony Allen, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; three aunts, Debra Butler, Diane Smith, and Ann Lewis (Bruce) of Petersburg, VA; six uncles, Robert Tucker, Willie Jones, Jr., Michael Davis, Anthony Davis (Michelle), Maurice Davis (Karen) and Fred Davis, Jr., all of Petersburg, VA; grandmother, Jennie Tucker of Petersburg, VA; numerous cousins too numerous to name, but seven devoted, Preston Smith, Bertha Hargraves, Leon Tucker, Mareka Hargraves, Patricia Jones, Toral Massenburg and Stacy Butler Green; two best friends that were like brothers, Terry Barnes and Eddie Jackson of Petersburg, VA; extended families, the Barnes and the Barnes/Deans, all of Petersburg, VA, and three special friends, Inez Hunter Shameka Price and Donielle Medina, all of Petersburg, VA.

Services for Mr. Anthony A. Tucker will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 418 Halifax Street, Petersburg, Va., the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Diggs, Sr., Pastor; and Elder Charles Williams, eulogist. Interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
