DIONTE MASON Obituary
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, T. Arthur and Audrey Mason, and his uncle Arthur Mason, Jr. (Bubba).
Dionte was born on July 22, 1986, to Randy Layton and Bessie Mason.
He attended Petersburg Public Schools and was last employed at Hill Phoenix. Dionte had a love for video games and various electronics.
Dionte leaves to cherish his memories his three children whom he loved dearly, Dionte (Boogie), Dikalen (Bug), and Jamira (his Turkey Bird) and Kirsten Wyche is their mother; his mother, Bessie Mason; a brother, Andre Mason (Nikkia) of Douglasville, GA; one sister, Rashanda (Rudy) Mason of Petersburg; five uncles and aunts, Stanley (Brenda) and Larry Mason (Sylvia) both of Prince George, Kevin Dale (Phyllis) and Keith Dean (Sherri) both of Florida,and Lawrence (Christine) of South Carolina; one niece, Arzhane of Douglasville and one nephew, Kamryn (his Little Roonie) of Petersburg; a devoted and loved girlfriend, Darlene Morgan and a host of cousins and devoted friends, some of which are Dominic, Terry, Charlie, Bert, Smalls, Ernest, Acey, Dubs, Scooter, T Lo, and the rest of Eastside.
Services for Mr. Dionte J. Mason will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Faith & Hope Temple C.O.G.I.C., 1800 E. Washington Street, Petersburg, Va.
Interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
A wake service will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at the funeral establishment.
