On Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, an angel descended from heaven for our beloved, Miss Alyna Dolores Davis, with her wings in flight she was lifted from this world of sorrow and pain and taken to a place of peace.

Alyna Dolores Davis was born on Thursday, Nov. 9, 1995, to her loving parents, Glenn and Charrise Davis in Chesapeake. Although Alyna was born in Chesapeake, she was raised in Chesterfield, and attended Beulah Elementary, Falling Creek Middle School, and was currently attending Community High School where she was scheduled to graduate in June 2014 and then anticipated enlisting in the United States Navy.

Alyna was a very family oriented person. She loved play fighting with her little brother, Earl and was very over protective of him. She also loved her quality time with her older sisters, Whitney and Ashley, whether it was going shopping, out to eat, or just sitting around joking. Alyna loved to travel, especially to visit her family in New York. She enjoyed spending summer vacations at her Aunt Denise's house on Long Island. Alyna loved music she would spend hours listening to music on her pink beats headphones, she loved spending time with family and friends and taking "selfies." Alyna was a joy to have as a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and or friend. She knew how to bring a smile to your face.

Alyna was a very loving, caring, protective aunt to her niece, Kimahni. Alyna could be anywhere in the house, and if Kimahni made a noise before you knew it, Alyna would be in your face asking, "what happened?" As far as Alyna was concerned the sun rose and set on her beautiful niece, Kimahni, and you could not tell her otherwise.

Alyna was preceded in death by: her grandfathers, Walter Davis Sr., and James Howard Scott Sr.; two uncles, Earl Davis, Eugene Davis and James Scott, and an aunt, Debra Scott.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: grandmothers, Dolores Doyle-Scott and Learlean Davis; her parents, Glenn and Charrise Davis; siblings, Whitney, Ashley and Earl Davis; a niece, Kimahni Charrise Davis; uncles and aunts, Denise Morton (Michael), Terry Scott, William Davis (Cynthia), Patricia Andujar (Eddie), Lisa Davis, Kevin Davis, Wanda Crowder, Walter Davis (Gail), Brian Davis (Angelina), Tyrone Davis (Carol), Jerome Davis (Aracelis) and Duane Davis (Denee), and a host of cousins; family; and friends, including her extended family, Momma Free; sisters, Erica and Cai'Asia; brothers, Jarmaine, Eric; and Javon (resting in paradise); and uncle, David; and aunts, Subrena, Letetica and Missie.
