Bedrick Sulc Obituary

Bedrick Benjamin Sulc, 78, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, 2010.

Mr. Sulc was born in Prince George and had been a life-time resident. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Sulc Sr. and Julia Kreicar Sulc; a son, Bedrick Benjamin "Bennie" Sulc Jr.; and two sisters, Virginia Tomko and Nancy Tanner. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, retired from Allied Chemical Corp. with more than 30 years service and was a longtime member of Powers Memorial Baptist Church. During his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Ann Peters Sulc; daughter, Regina Sulc Smith and her husband, C.I.; two granddaughters, Brittany and Stephanie Smith; sisters, Evelyn Chezik and Emily Marks; numerous nieces, nephews, and family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Powers Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Breckenridge officiating. Interment to follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com.
