Carolyn Slagle Obituary
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary T. Temple.
She is survived by her children, Christina Francioni (Rodney), John Compton Jr. (Carolyn P.), William Compton, Kellie Rafferty (Joe) and Billie Jean Compton; her father, Howard Temple; her brothers and sisters, Preston, Calvin and Ray Temple, Dottie Hicks, Marie Sartor and Shirley Rose. She is survived by eight grandchildren and many other devoted family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, in the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. Sixth St., Hopewell, where funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Interment private.
