As I remember Sharita on the anniversary of her passing, I look back and remember what a beautiful person she was. She was kind and always smiling with a beautiful heart and soul. She was my supervisor at work and I couldn´t have asked for a better supervisor. May her memory bring you much peace and happiness. She is gone but will never be forgotten. Continue to Rest in Heavenly Peace Sharita.

To the Ellis Family,
I am truly sorry to hear of Charita's passing. I don't know Charita, but I wanted to pass on a few words of comfort to the family. I know you will miss her so much. We do have the hope of seeing her again and the times will be happy times. God will give you strength to endure and you can find comfort in his words as he will put no more on you than you can bear.

May the God of all love, mercies and comfort grant you and your family peace at this time.

Do roses grow in heaven, Lord,

perfect in every way?

Is there a pretty yellow one,

that you could pick today?

I'd like it for my loved one,

that joined you in heaven high.

Would you give it with a note,

but please, don't tell her that I cry?

Yellow was her favorite rose,

she gave to me with a kiss.

I can still smell the fragrance,

as I sit here and reminisce.

My eyes still get teary, Lord,

for I miss her very much.

If only for a moment,

I could once more feel her touch.

Remembering our love is easy,

as I do it every day,

but my heart still has an ache,

that will never go away.

So if you have some roses,

please save a yellow one,

and tell my love one I'll join Her,

when my life on earth is done.

Lord, please hold on tightly, to my loved one that I lost,

The nights are cold and lonely, like the freezing from a frost.

I close my eyes at night, hoping sleep will over come...

Hoping that by morning, my body won’t feel numb.

Oh, God, how hard it is at times, even after all these years,

The pain just never goes away... nor do all the tears.

I can’t seem to focus, on the things I know I must,

For I still see the face, of the one I love and trust.

The holidays are rough, Dear God, even though I try my best,

But I can’t seem to forget the day, I laid my love to rest.

I read a book, I watch TV, I try to write a letter,

Hoping and praying, each day will soon get better.

Thanksgiving soon to be here, then Christmas on its way;

It’s so difficult to celebrate, since my love has gone away.

Forgive me Lord, for I am weak, and I wish to be strong,

Please take this sadness from my heart; replace it with a song.

Oh Lord, help me remember, You, are only a prayer away,

And when I keep my faith in You, I know I’ll be okay.

So as the holidays approach … to my loved one I express,

Not a day on earth goes by, that I fail to think of “us”.

And now I must be thankful, for God, I love You so

Just knowing You are there for me, so much to You, I owe.

Now in the quiet of the night, the snow falls from above,

As I look into the Heavens, I still miss my precious love.

Tonight I’ll light a candle, for the one I miss so much;

Knowing I can never feel, that tender loving touch.

But when I leave this world, and join my love again,

I’ll know in my heart, in God’s hands he’ll remain.

Today I had a vision

that God came to my door.

The feeling in my heart,

I'd never had before.

He said He had a gift for me,

a very precious one.

He said it was because of all

the nice things I have done.

He said I have been kind,

and not much did I seek,

So He stopped by to give this gift,

to make my life complete.

I couldn't help but wonder,

what God must have in mind,

But in my heart I knew for sure,

nowhere else would I find.

He told me I must cherish this,

and give back all I could,

And without I doubt I knew,

I'd do everything I should.

I waited then to see,

what this precious gift would be,

He said I must give half of me;

that would be my guarantee.

He told me to hold out my hand,

but still I had no clue,

Then He placed His hand in mine,

and said my gift was YOU.

I can not find the words to say

Exactly how I feel.

That truly describes the hurt inside,

For I know your pain is so real.

Your heart, so heavy, with so much pain,

for the empty loss inside.

The tears fall down like falling rain

That never seems to subside.

It's very hard to say "goodbye",

To the one you loved so much.

But if you go to God in prayer,

You'll feel His sense of touch.

Think of your sorrows calmly,

when daylight turns to night.

Go tell it all to Jesus,

For He will make it right.

He's always there to listen,

When your grief, to Him, you give.

You'll feel the burden lifted,

And again, your life you'll live.

At times like these...it is only GOD who can speak the words that calm the sea, still the wind, and ease the pain. So lean on Him, and you will never walk alone. Charita, I miss you so much.We had some wonderful times together.I will cherish your memories and only hope that I can become half the person you were.......

When I Must Leave When I must leave you for a little
while -- please do not grieve and
shed wild tears and hug your sorrow
to you through the years, But start
out bravely with a gallant smile:
And for my sake and in my name live
on and do all things the same, Feed
not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful
ways, Reach out your hand in comfort
and in cheer and I in turn will com-
fort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky.

The Precious Gift One gift, above all others
God gives to us to treasure
One that knows no time, no place
And one gold cannot measure. The precious, poignant, tender gift
Of Memory --- that will keep
Our dear ones ever in our hearts
Although God gives them sleep. It brings back long remembered
things
A song, a word, a smile
And our world's a better place
- - - because
We had them for awhile!

The Hand of God Though today, you walk in sorrow
You will not be alone
There is One whose loving wisdom
Is far greater than our own
Put your trusting hand in His
As a little child would do
And He like a loving father
Will guide and comfort you! Day by day, there will come to you
New faith, new hope, new light
You'll find that stars unseen by day
Shine through the darkest night
And though your heart is longing
For the dear one who's at rest
You'll know before the journey's end
That God's dear ways are best!

Crossing The Bar Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call from me!
And may there be no moaning
of the bar
When I put out to sea.
But such a tide as moving seems
asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out
the boundless deep.
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness
of farewell, When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne
of Time and place
The flood may bear me far, I hope
to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

23rd Psalm The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not
want. He maketh me to lie down in
green pastures; he leadeth me beside
still waters. He restoreth my soul;
he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the val-
ley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil; for thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort
me. Thou preparest a table before
me in the presence of mine enemies;
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of
the Lord forever.

121st Psalm
I will lift mine eyes unto the hills
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which
made heaven and earth. He will
not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not
slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy
keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon
thy hand. The sun shall not smite
thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from
all evil; He shall preserve thy
soul. The Lord shall preserve thy
going out and thy coming in from
this time forth, and even for
evermore.

Barbara,We that are in the fall of our grief
It is crisp, like the autumn wind
We watch grief fall upon us
Like the autumn leaves that falls to the ground
Our days grow longer
We experience the pain of loss

Winter
We that are in the winter of our grief
It is cold, and dark, and bleak
We wonder if we will ever feel warm again
Our days are short, and nights, lonely and long
We pray for warmth again

Spring
We that are in the spring of our grief
Our days grow brighter, and warm
We are amazed at the renewal of our souls
Our faith is like the new buds, and spring flowers
It waits to explode forth
To bring new color into our souls

Summer
We that are in the summer of our grief
We look in wonder at our renewal
It's like the new green grass
The leaves upon the trees
The sun shines down upon us
It brings warmth to our souls
We are splashed in glorious warmth
Our hope is restored

Ellis Family,Memory builds a little pathway
That goes winding through my heart.
It's a lovely, quiet, gentle trail
From other things apart;
I only meet when traveling there
The folks I like the best
For this road I call remembrance
Is hidden from the rest;
But I hope I'll always find you
In my memory rendezvous
For I keep this little secret place
To meet with folks like you.

To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated,
But to the happy, I am at peace,
And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea--
As you look upon a flower and admire it's simplicity--
Remember Me.
Remember me in your heart.
Your thoughts, and your memories,
Of the times we loved,
The times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me,
I will never have gone.

I’d like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an after glow
Of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo
Whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
To dry before the sun
Of happy memories
That I leave when life is done.

Your Word

Your Word, O Lord
Is wisdom and truth
And we need to know this
When in our youth

To have it embedded
Deep in our hearts
To never give it up
And never let it part

We need to know
The truth there in
That will lead us to life
And free us from sin

Your Word, O Lord
Is faithful and just
And in your Word
We must put our trust

Before all of God's creation
The Lord had formed me
From the very beginning of time
I was there beside thee
Before the mountains were formed
I was brought forth
While yet there was no land
I was with the Lord
When He created everything
The heavens, the sea and the sky
The earth, and all who live in it
I was His daily delight
Blessed are you that listen

Do not neglect instruction
But receive God's wisdom today

THE MASTER'S BOUQUET

The Master walked in His garden
Plucking flowers along the way;
He plucked one of my loved ones,
To add to his bouquet.

My heart at first was broken,
At the loss of one so dear;
But the tears I shed just washed my eyes,
So I saw His way more clear.

My Lord has a need for just this one,
For the pattern He has in mind;
But it's hard for the rest of us to see
Why we must be left behind.

Perhaps we are not ready to go just yet
We may need to ripen more
To reach the full blown fragrance
My Lord is waiting for.

To each, give forth a fragrance
To each we chance to meet
We should each be trying day by day
To make our fragrance sweet.

So I'm going to try my very best
To be loving and kind each day,
So at last I'll be counted worthy
To be part of my Master's Bouquet.

JAMES MARTIN

I remember the times of laughter,
I remember the times of tears.
These are the precious memories
My heart will hold so dear.

Gone are the days of sickness,
Gone is the pain and fear.
He's with his blessed Saviour now
For all the coming years.

They are walking streets of Gold
And communing hand in hand.
His home is now in Heaven,
That blessed promised land.

So I'll dry my eyes and praise the Lord
For the plan that He has made
That takes us from this world of pain
And brings a brighter day.

I will cry when my heart needs to
But I'll let laughter come again
And I know that I'll be with him
When God fulfills His plan.

IN MEMORIAM

Jesus released a soul today
Ever up where angels stay
Serving God both then and now
Understanding why and how

Souls of others come to greet
They gather at The Father's seat
He, The Son, stands between
Enveloping the soul so lean

Carefully, the book laid bare
He, the soul, is listed there
Rightfully, soul meets judge
In God's eyes, devoid of smudge

Songs of joy fill Heaven's dome
This soul, so dear, is finally home.

IN A GARDEN FOR ANGELS

Life is a gift not ours to keep,
A seed unsown and yet we still reap.

Here for only a very short while,
The heavenly reality of an earthly denial.

Like a flickering light here and then gone,
The essence of what love is based upon.

Birth and death the beginning and end,
As one heart breaks another one mends.

What was never ours is no more,
Returning to whom it belonged before?

Tear filled eyes silence the heart,
As body and spirit slowly part.

Life is a journey from first breath to last,
Memories left behind in the eternal past.

The here and now releases becoming a remember when,
Replanting the seed so that a new harvest can begin.

With trembling hands love says good-bye,
But still the heart can't help but ask, "Why God Why?"

A heavenly destination will be reached this day,
And in a garden for angels another spirit will awaken to play.

God looked around his garden,
And saw an empty space.
Then he looked down here on earth,
And saw your loving face.

He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
His garden must beautiful,
Because he only picks the best.

A million times we'll miss you,
A million times we'll cry.
If love could have saved you,
You never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a special place,
No one could ever fill.

It broke our hearts to loose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

Goodbye my sweet little girl until we meet in the Lord,
I miss you sooooo much but in the distance I can hear Him say prepare to get on board.
I have to say you have been the light in this old man's eye,
and now when I think about you I will be looking towards the sky.
I know without a doubt you are cradled in His arm,
and I can feel him giving you love telling you there is no more harm.
I know you are in the mind of a loving God and with His Son forever,
where there is no pain, no sorrow and never a chance to sever.
I sit here with swollen eyes after the tears have been flowing,
knowing you are already in the place where I will be going.
I pray with all of my heart as we have discussed,
you are keeping my seat warm next to the One we both trust.
In a short time and it can't be that long,
I will come and join you so we can both sing that song.
Jesus is the best friend I ever had,
gives me nothing but good and takes away my bad.
Lifts me up when I'm down cheers me when I'm sad,
Jesus is the best friend I ever had.
Well, I am to the point of breaking down my front,
with tears welling up from my heart causing me to be blunt.
Farewell my sweet little girl I will miss you like no other,
I will keep on living until He removes my cover.
Thank you for the many sweet times we have had together,
I am so glad to have had the chance to be your family!

God has gently called your loved one away,
It is a Joyous thought to now realize;
To close the eyes here in this world,
Is only to open them again...in Paradise.

The pain and suffering now are gone,
There's no tears nor night anymore;
Your dear one said, "good-night" here and then,
Received a warm Welcome to Heaven's shore.

Your loved has now met Jesus, our Saviour,
While the Heavenly Choir of Angels sing;
Walking the streets of that beautiful City,
Joyful in heart as Heavenly voices ring.

Joining now to sing with the Angels there,
This Heavenly Land is peaceful and grand;
Waiting to Welcome you there, too, someday,
Smiling and rejoicing ~ holding to God's hand.

Your loved one will be greatly missed,
We sorrow not as those who have no Hope;
Your loving hands have done all they could do,
The Comforter will come to help you cope.

God is with you each moment of the day,
He wants you to continue on as best you can;
Trust in Him through each lonely hour,
You will meet again ~ Trust in His Divine Plan.

Our lives go on without you
But nothing is the same,
We have to hide our heartaches
When someone speaks your name.
Sad are the hearts that love you
Silent the tears that fall,
Living our hearts without you
Is the hardest part of all.
You did so many things for us
Your heart was kind and true,
And when we needed someone
We could always count on you.
The special years will not return
When we were all together,
But with the love within our hearts
You will walk with us forever.

NO TEARS PAST THE GATE

Someone new has entered
our eternal home above.
The heavenly gate has opened wide
to welcome the one you love.
We cannot help the tears that fall-
our hearts need time to grieve
when earthly life has ended
and a loved one has to leave.
Yet even in the saddest time,
we know our Savior lives,
and we can trust completely
in the promise that he gives.
That in a glad reunion with the Lord,
our loved ones wait
to welcome us in joy
with no more tears

We thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new,
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence
We often speak your name,
Now all we have are memories
And your picture in a frame.
Some may think you are forgotten
Though on earth you are no more,
But in our memory you are with us
As you always were before.
A million times we've thought of you
A million times we've cried,
If loving could have saved you
You would have never died.
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
Part of us went with you
On the day God called you home.
Forgive me Lord, I'll always weep
For the best friend I loved, but could not keep.

EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE GONE

Your presence is still here
We hold near and dear
For we’ve loved you forever
And we’ll forget you never.

You have come and gone
But we know what is true
When we laid you on that lawn
Knowing God has a place for you.

I think about you everyday
I feel so very glad
Knowing you won’t go away
You’ll keep me company when I’m sad.

For you are here, though not on Earth
We love you just the same
We know that you’ll rebirth
But God is not to blame

He just wanted what’s best for us
Even though we may not see
God is the one we must trust
So with Him we let it be.

I LOVE YOU!

When you were just a baby I held you in my arms;
I shielded you from the world and protected you from harm.
As you began to grow, I was always there;
I no longer held you in my arms but I held you up in prayer.

Soon you were off to school into boys and football games;
A parade of friends were passing through, many faces, many names.
I watched you as you struggled for your own identity;
And I often thought to myself you were the image of me.

You were now a young woman, ribbons and bows I put away;
And, oh how I burst with pride on your wedding day.
I watched you from afar as you entered another world;
Many people saw a woman that day, but for me I saw my little girl.

I watched you raise your family and never did I interfere.
I knew if you needed me, you knew I would be here.
I watched you make decisions and take control of your life;
It was still hard for me to believe my little girl was now a wife.

I would often think about the times when you were just a child;
And I wished it could be that way again, just for a little while.
But, I knew I had to let you go, so in God I placed my trust;
And now my time has come, and though it's hard to let go, you must.

Remember we come here for just a visit for none of us can stay;
Know that I will always be with you, just a prayer away.
I leave with you my legacy that forever will live on;
My love for you will always be, so I never will be gone.

I'm merely going to find rest just over Jordan's tide;
I'm going to find peace with my Father on the other side.
Your hurt and pain will soon be gone
Though you may find it hard to believe;
I'm resting in my Father's arms, so please try not to grieve.
Remember that while I lived, you were my whole world;
And though you grow older with each day,
You'll always be my little girl.

There'll be no tears in Heaven,
I've heard the good folks say,
It's Paradise beyond your dreams,
With Beauty on display.
So it was no surprise to me,
To wake up on this side,
But when I knew you were not there,
I hung my head and cried.

And then an Angel came to me,
And lifted up my face.
"I've never seen a tear before,
Since I've been in this place.
Why are you crying my young man?
What makes you feel so sad?
Is Heaven not all that you dreamed?"
I said, "I miss my Dad."

"I miss my Mom and Sister,
And everyone who cared.
Nanny's crying, Papa's hurt,
And my cousins are so scared.
My loving Aunts and Uncles,
Are trying to be strong.
They want to try the best they can,
To help my folks along."

The Angel said, "Oh, now I see,
Why you are sad to find,
Your family's on the other side,
You've left them all behind.
But I have something wonderful,
To tell you, please come near,
Although they are not with you now,
One day they'll all be here.
You've only gone ahead of them,
You're starting life anew,
They cannot be here with you now,
They still have things to do.
And even though it seems to be,
A real long time to them,
In Heaven it will only be a moment,
My new friend.
So come with me, I'll show you now,
Amazing things to see,
And when they come,
They'll be so glad, to see you here with me."

There'll be no tears in Heaven,
You've heard the good folks say,
And we will be in Paradise,
Forever and a day.

Her voice, her laugh, her smile
Will all be missed for a while
But then we realize
And look up to clear blue skies
We wipe the tears from our face
She is in a better place
The love she had will never end
We'll always remember her, our dear friend
We will see her again someday
When all our fears are washed away
So hold fast to the memory
And think of things that soon will be
Together again, a family
My Daddy, my sister, my Mommy, and me.

If angels can speak great words from above
And fly with wings of God's given love
If chariots can ride over dark clouds
And instruments can sing praises out loud
If sparrows can stand on the housetop alone
Then God still comforts His own

God sent snow,
As if to wipe away,
And cleanse,
Even for a moment,
My soul,
Crying out to Him,
For my world was filled with despair,
Sorrow and loneliness.

The snow fell softly,
Like angel wings,
Silently,
Like the tears on my cheeks,
And suddenly,
In the quiet of the night,
My soul became still.

The snow will not last,
But for me,
It was a sign of hope,
Of God's never-ending love for me,
His child.

The message I received that night,
Is that in my haste to receive the gift of healing,
I had overlooked the miracles
That God has already worked in my life.

The miracle of life and breath,
The miracle of a smile,
An embrace of tenderness,
A call or letter from a friend,
And the joyous sound of my child's laughter.

Don't cry any more tears for me, I am at peace, I'm finally free.
Like the eagle in the sky, I am soaring, so please don't cry.
I know you love me, I love you too,
But my time was over, was finally through.
I have ascended to a better place,
Which is not confined by time or space.
To those that loved me, I did not fall,
I only succumbed to a higher call.
Do not mourn me, I am with you still.
I'll be with you always, from dawn-----until.

Life is a book in volumes three,
The past, the present and the yet to be.
The past we've written and laid away,
The present we're living day by day.
The last and best of volumes three,
Is locked from sight
God keeps the key.

Never let the pain of loss run deeper than the remembrance of love. For if it does, cherished memories will be lost and eternal purpose will be forgotten."

August 30, 2010

It seems in laughter our hearts are sad and the end of joy brings grief,
For when the night fell your life was halted and you were taken by a thief.
But God is no thief and your life did not stop,
For your body went down but your spirits rose up.
The human mind may plan the steps but God directs the way,
And he needed you in heaven with him on that fateful day.

We can cry all we want and we can be miserable inside,
We can look at all those terrible events the day that you died.
But God took you for a reason that we may never understand,
He led the way to heaven's gates and took you by the hand.

He said it's time and you looked back at us waiting for a sign,
You needed us to let you go and you told us not to cry.
We bowed our heads and prayed to the lord to keep you in his grace,
We knew as life went on we'd never forget your face.

Up in heaven, now you're an angel all the way through,
And we'll never forget the times we had with you.
So watch over us and help to keep us safe,
And we pray dear Lord keep him in your good grace.

People come into our lives and walk with us a mile, and then because of circumstance they only stay a while. They serve a need within the days that move so quickly by, and then are gone beyond our reach, we often wonder why. God only knows the reason that we meet and share a smile, why people come into our lives and walk with us a mile."

Losing the ones you love
Without getting to say your good-byes
Having life slip away
Right before your eyes

Not being able to control
The way you feel or act
Wishing you could be little again
But knowing you can't go back

You've grown up now
Things will never be the same
It's time to move on with life
And deal with the pain

Because it's useless
To dwell on things like the past
People will come and go
But the memories will always last

So remember the good times
And all the fun you had
Though it may be hard
Life can go on, even without a dad.

I looked at you once my friend-
And saw my dreams in your eyes,
Felt my spirit in your heart-
We were like one soul in two bodies.

Come any hardship, tear, or argument,
You'd be there, and so would I.
With every joy, smile, or celebration,
We'd share everything with each other.

I never imagined a day without hearing your voice,
Seeing you smile, laughing and crying with you.
But all of the sudden, you were gone.
Everything had changed in my life-

You took a part of me with you.
'It's not fair!' I would scream,
'Why did she leave me?'
I thought I could never smile again,

But I remembered you saying -
"Always be strong."
So, I lifted my head,
And moved on.

But, not a day passes
When I don't think of you.
My friend -
I'll never find another like you.

Now when I reach out,
You are not there.
My eyes have not met yours in years,
But I can feel you -

I know you're here with me.
I wish it didn't have to end,
But I know one day-
I'll see you again.

A TRUE FRIEND

I found a true friend.
That friend was you.
You came into my life
Right out of the blue.

We knew each other
For quite some time.
Who would of thought,
One day you would be mine?

We shared so much laughter and tears,
And we had so much fun.
Who would of thought
you would be the one?

But I should've known
For our friendship was too perfect.
I knew I couldn't have you
Forever to protect.

Protect me from my fears
And insecurities
I had to one day stand
On my own two feet.

You taught me so much
In this short time that we've had
Losing you hurt me deep inside
I don't ever want a soul to feel this bad.

I want you to know
I will never ever forget you
For everything you've taught me
I will try to be true to.

Now it's my turn to share
My love and take someone else's hand
And teach her how
To be a true friend.

This will be the hardest thing
I'll ever do
But I know I need
To let go of you.

For if I don't,
I will never move on.
There's nothing I can do
To change the fact that you're gone.

But until the day we will be together again,
Remember you will always be
My one and only true and special friend.

I MISS YOU, RITA!!!!

A shining star from up above
Reminds us of those we've loved.
Here today, gone tomorrow
Lonesome hearts filled with sorrow.

The pain of missing you never fades
But I cherish the friendship that we've made.
Though we can't talk day by day
I remember you in every way.

The laughs, the smiles, held so dear
Memories of you bring me cheer.
Holding you close in my heart-
With you forever, we'll never part.

LIFE

I was often told it will get better as time goes on, and being this age that is not always the easiest thing to believe. So many things happen to so many good people but in reality it never hurts as much as it does to you.

In one's life they must experience, life, living, and dying, and then death. Usually for most this comes in over a long period of time, but myself I was born I have lived and I have experienced dying of people I hold dear to my heart and then the cold reality that they won't be coming back.

But in all the people that I have seen come and go with time they always leave me with something to remind me of them. Now this gift they give you, you don't always know you have received it until maybe many years later. It might be one word they said, a phrase, a speech of wisdom or maybe the simple fact they loved you.

So if you lose someone dear, no matter how old they are, or how old you are for that matter, always hold onto those memories of the ones you've lost because one day you to will be leaving someone with knowledge and wisdom of your own.

KISSES ABOVE

Kisses above to you my love
I blow them to you because that's all I can do
I miss you so both so much
It really is my biggest crutch

I really don't feel as if I have much grace
As I walk at an uneven pace
I hope you both know how much I care
because my heart feels so bare

Kisses above to you my love
You both taught me to do
So many things in memory of you
To list another crutch
I long to feel your touch
When I look at your face
I end up in a daze
I long to comb your hair
And for you to be so near

Kisses above to you my love
Some people just don't have a clue
What in life I had prepared for you
I love you both so much

HUGS I send to you a bunch
All around the world there lays
Many people for us who prays
So many that care
Because of the moments you were here
Kisses above to you my love

She was an angel sent from God
A joy to all a way of fun.

She made you laugh when you were down
She turned around an unwanted frown

To call her evil would be a lie
For she never, ever made you cry

Her jokes were droll
Her smile sweet
Her personality was really neat

If you needed a hand
She'd always have three
For she was always there
When the joy starts to cease.

A loving teacher
A wonderful friend
Too bad her world had to come to an end

Her character was bright
Her love sublime
She was a really good friend of mine

She closed her eyes for the very last time
Rose to heaven and said goodbye

And even though she has gone away
Her warmth is still deeply felt.

I hoped and prayed
She left anyway
But now I know
For she always said (and I agree)
"Everything Happens As It Should "

THE PLAN OF THE MASTER WEAVER

Our lives are but fine weavings,
That God and we prepare,
Each life becomes a fabric planned,
And fashioned in His care,
We may not always see just how,
The weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the master's hand,
And follow His design,
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side,
While we must look from underneath
And trust in Him to guide.

Sometimes a strand of sorrow
Is added to His plan,
And though it's difficult for us,
We still must understand,
That it's He who fills the shuttle,
It's He who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience,
And leave to Him the rest.

Not till the loom is silent,
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God unroll the canvas,
And explain the reason why--
The dark threads are as needed,
In the weaver's skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver,
In the pattern He has planned.

Many a tear has fallen
And my heart has ached with pain,
The good Lord awakened and touched your heart
To take you away he came.

As I reach for your hand
And realize its not there,
When I really need a hug
And talk to someone who will care.

It is these times and more
When I miss you most mum,
When I have only memories
Of our laughter, tears and fun.

I feel your rays of sunshine
Made by you just for me,
That makes me want to carry on
Knowing you watch me is the key.

Now the road traveled has been hard
With many a twist and bend,
Through the laughter and the tears
With the strength that you do send.

God knows you never leave my heart
And I think of you each night,
You're always there to guide my way
And keep my flame alight.

am home in heaven dear ones
Oh, so peaceful and so bright
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed
I am now at peace forever
Safely home in heaven at last

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade
Oh but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade

And he came himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread
And with Jesus arm to lean on
Could I have one doubt or dread

Then you must not grieve so sorely
For I love you dearly still
Try to look beyond earth's shadows
Pray to trust our Father's will

There is work still waiting for you
So you must not idly stand
Do it now while life remaineth
You shall rest in Jesus' land

When the work is all completed
He will gently call you home
Oh the rapture of that meeting
Oh the joy to see you come

God Is Love! (From 1 Cor. 13:4,5,6-8) God is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. God isn't selfish or quick tempered. He doesn't keep a record of wrong doings that others do. God rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. God is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. God NEVER fails!!!!

In a beautiful blue lagoon on a clear day, a fine sailing ship spreads its brilliant white canvas in a fresh morning breeze sails out to the open sea.
You are not forgotten loved one
Nor will you ever be
As long as life and memory last
We will miss thee.
We will miss you now
Our hearts are sore
As time goes by
We miss you more
Your loving smile
Your gentle face
No one can fill your vacant place
We watch her glide away magnificently through the deep blue and gradually see her grow smaller and smaller as she nears the horizon.

Finally, where the sea and sky meet, she slips silently from sight; and someone near me says, 'There, she is gone!'

Gone where? Gone from sight, that is all.

She is still as large in mast and hull and sail, still just as able to bear her load. And we can be sure that, just as we say, 'There, she is gone!' another says, 'There, she comes!!!' "

Even though the pain of losing you runs deep,
I'm now beginning to feel
A sweet, serene peace
Even though my heart is broken,
And I still feel sad,
I'm grateful to the Lord
For all the love that we shared

There are times I feel
No longer can I cope,
But I hear the voice of God say,
Child, don't grieve like those with no hope.

There are endless days and nights
When tears run down my cheeks
But I hear you whisper gently,
As you remind me
The Lord is good, kind, merciful and meek.

Though I think of you
And miss you so
I hear you say
"Because I knew God, I was prepared
When he said," my child
It's time to go.

Even though
There are still endless days and nights
Of tears and pain
You yet remind me
Because of God's love,
We'll be together once again.

Now each day,
I feel your presence
I begin to imagine
The grand time
You're having in Heaven.
I'm thankful to the Man above,
For He's giving you
The kind of love
We, who are still here,
Can only dream of.

No further away than a picture,
A smile, or remembered phrase,
Our loved ones live in memory -
So close in so many ways.
For how often does a sunset
Bring nostalgic thoughts to mind
Of moments that our loved one shared
In days now left behind!
How often has a flower
Or a crystal autumn sky
Brought golden recollections
Of happy day gone by!
Yes, memory has a magic way
Of keeping loved ones near -
Ever close in mind and heart
Are the ones we hold most dear.

We seem to give them back to you, O God,
who gave them to us.
Yet as you did not lose them in giving,
so do we not lose them by their return.
Not as the world gives,
do you give, O Lover of Souls.
What you give, you take not away,
for what is yours is ours also if we are yours.
Life is eternal, love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon
and horizon is nothing, save the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, strong Son of God,
that we may see further.
Cleanse our eyes that we may see more clearly,
draw us closer to yourself,
that we may know ourselves to be nearer to our loved ones
who are with You.
And while you prepare a place for us,
prepare us also for that happy place,
that where You are,
we may be also, for evermore."

loved you so.
So why did you have to go?

Why did God take you away from me that day?
I never got to tell you all the things I had to say.

Never did I tell you the way you made me feel when you were around.
And now I will never get to tell you now that you are in the ground.

I wanted to tell you that I loved you so much,
And that I loved it when I felt your touch.
Never again will I be able to hold your hand,
As we walk along the sand,

Or watch the waves crash up on the shore.
That is something I really adored.

But you are gone.
Now I will have to wake up alone when a new day has dawned.

My heart is broken and I don't know if it will ever be able to mend,
Until the day when I see you again.

You made me see life in a different view,
And because of that I will never forget you.
I will live my life for you
And will do the things you never got a chance to do.

You changed my life in the very best way.
You made me the person that I am today.
I will always remember you each and every day.

My only regret is that I never told you how much I loved you,
But hopefully you can hear me now when I say I truly did love you.

You left me with a legacy of brilliant smiles and sweet laughter,
As you guide me through the days from the hereafter.
Your voice like a singing bird chirping to my heart,
Your precious friendship was a gift from the start.

You left us too quickly with many milestones yet to face,
But you will always be there in my heart and embrace.
Proms, graduation, college, marriage, children, and more,
You will miss so much of what life has in store.

But I will take your memory down all the roads to come,
You're the glimmer in my soul and an inspiration to some.
I dedicate my life to living for both of us together,
Because your time with me will be treasured forever.

The tears I now shed stand for much more than sorrow,
But for the fact that you will never see tomorrow.

GOD SAID

"For a little while I'll lend you a child of mine for you to cherish while she lives, and mourn for when she is dead. Look after her for me! It may be six or seven years before I will call her home.

Will you care for her?

She'll bring you love, joy and happiness and should her stay be brief, you'll have a whole host of memories as solace from your grief."

I cannot promise she will stay, since all from the earth returns to dust, but there are lessons taught below that I want this child to learn.

Will you love her?

I've looked the whole world over in my search for teachers true, and from the masses that crowd life's lane at last I've chosen you.

Now will you give her all your love and not think your labor in vain and turn against me when I come to take her back home again.

I fancied that I heard you say to me:

"Dear Lord your will be done, for all the joy your child shall bring the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter her with tenderness. We'll love her while we may, and the happiness we've known forever grateful stay. But should the angels call her much sooner than planned, we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand."

"I'll lend you for a little while a child of mine, God said, for you to cherish while she lives, and mourn for when she's dead."

With the Master at my side.
My life on earth was very good,
As earthly life can go,
But Paradise is so much more

My heart is filled with happiness
And sweet rejoicing, too.
To walk with God is perfect peace,
A joy forever new.

I'll love her while I may,
and for the happiness I've known
forever grateful I'll stay.

But should the angels call for her,
much sooner than I planned,
I'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
and try to understand."

My deepest condolences go out to Charita's family. I worked with her many years ago and she was loved by many. She was a sweet and loving person who could make you laugh on your darkest days. She will truly be missed.
