Charlotte Lawson Obituary

Charlotte Margareth "Lotte" Lawson, 80, of Hopewell, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010.

Mrs. Lawson was born in Bremerhaven, Germany. She was a retired lab technician with Firestone Corporation, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Womans Club of Hopewell.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Lisa Hartmann.

Surviving are her husband, Reavie Arthur Lawson, and a daughter, Charlotte Jean Lawson, both of Hopewell; two sons, James Arthur Lawson and wife Bonnie of Charlotte, N.C., Robert Allen Lawson of Morehead City, N.C.; four grandchildren, Kevin Lawson of Greenville, S.C., and Bruce Lawson of Charlotte. N. C., Travis and Jason Lawson of Morehead City, N.C.; a sister, Hannalore Whitmore of Arizona.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ron Bullis, pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1107 West Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com.
