Mr. Clarence Elvis Steed, of Chesterfield County, departed this life on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Allen Steed.

He is survived by: two daughters, Deborah Lewis (Derrick) and Angela West (Barney); four grandchildren, Ryan and Rashad West, and Dara and Daja Lewis; two godchildren; two sisters, Gladys Reynolds and Kathleen Thompson; one brother, Wallace Steed (Barbara); two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Centralia, 2920 Kingsdale Road, Richmond, the Rev. Dr. Wilson E. Shannon, pastor, officiating. Interment to follow at Maury Cemetery, Richmond.
