Deborah Gant Obituary

Ms. Deborah E. Gant, age 52, of 130 McKeever St., Petersburg, departed this life Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at the Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. She was born in Baltimore, Md., August 27, 1957.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Baker Dugger.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted stepfather, Deacon Lee a Dugger (Pacing); four aunts, Elmira Johnson (John), Francis Watkins, Audrey Bazemore (Vanzella) and Mary Garnett all of Baltimore, Md.; a stepbrother, Jermaine Dugger; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends to include the staff of and friends at the Helping Hands Adult Center.

A service of love and remembrance was held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at the Chapel of William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, Petersburg. In remembrance, please make donations in honor Debbie's life to the Helping Hands Adult Center at 130 McKeever St., Petersburg.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, Petersburg.
