Drucilla Livesay Obituary
Mrs. Livesay was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Livesay, and a son, Braden McLean Livesay. Mrs. Livesay was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Roy Marshall Livesay and his wife, Lynda; four grandchildren, Jeff, Douglas and Darrell Livesay, and Kimberly Bear; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew, William Wayne Dise.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Ave., Hopewell, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Browder officiating. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 502 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860. Condolences may be registered at www.nelsencares.com.

She was a very special lady and will be missed by everyone who knew her. My best memories of her was on 5th street when I would visit James and Lena Nesbitt for the summer. When visiting Lena, love calling and talking to her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

TO KIM AND FAMILY, I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT YOUR GRANMOTHER LAST WEEK. SHE WAS SUCH AN AMAZING LADY WITH SO MUCH SPIRIT. SHE WILL BE MISSED BUT I KNOW SHE IS EXCITED TO FINALLY MEET WITH OUR LORD JESUS.
