Ms. Frances Marie Clark, 56, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013, at VCU/MCV Medical Center, Richmond.

Frances was very well known for her kind heart and witty tongue. Frances was cared for and loved by many.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Louise Berry; and father, James Rick.
Frances is survived by: two daughters, Sonya Ross (Allen) of Petersburg, and Daniella Clark (Tyree) of Hopewell; three grandchildren, Reginald Clark, Dakiah Marsh and Shaakira Ross; one goddaughter; two godsons; three sisters, Alice Thornton (Eldridge) of Wakefield, Roberta Clark and Mary Berry (Henry), both of Hopewell; four brothers, Mack Berry of Suffolk, Linwood Berry (Crystal) of Prince George, Richard Berry of Kentucky and Melvin Berry of Arizona; one honorary sister; a devoted aunt, Helen Stith of Waverly; and a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; a couple devoted friends; and one very special friend close to her heart.
A funeral service for Ms. Frances M. Clark will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg.
