Mr. Francis Robinson, affectionately known as "Knuckle" of 709 Kirkham Street was called home on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at his residence. He was born on February 18, 1957, to Thelma Robinson and Frank Griffin.

He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and was a member of First Baptist Church, Harrison Street. He was a graduate of Petersburg High School, Class of 1976. Francis was employed at Fort Lee until his health declined. He was previously employed with Jersey Bell when he graduated from high school

Francis was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Shirley Ann Goode Robinson; mother, Thelma Robinson; father, Frank Griffin; step-father, Elijah Robinson; sister, Dorothy Ruth Robinson Graves; brother, Milton "Buck" Robinson; and nephew, Cleon "Junior" Davis.

Francis leaves to cherish his memory: his one and only daughter, Shaquale Robinson; granddaughter, Keshiyah Williams; step-son, Cory Goode; grandson, Cordell Johnson; sister, Beatrice Crutcher; four aunts, Glovenia Patterson, Virgie Bonner, Mary Alice White and Elsie Johnson; three uncles, Richard Edwards, Booker T. Edwards (Ida) and Kenny Griffin; five nieces, Wanda Graves Crawley, Takia Graves, Norma "Tiff" Robinson, Tara Floyd (Ed) and Allison "NeeNee" Chandler; three nephews, Anthony Robinson, (Catherine), Reginald "Reggie" Richardson and Kim Richardson; two great nieces, Kristiana Graves-Brown and Kamora Graves; a host of other relatives and friends, among them Keith Pulley, James "Bubee" Scott, Dwight "Bo Didley" Scott, Gary "Speedy" Redwine and Larry "Brown" Jones.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 14, 2018, in the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Elder Benjamin Shaw of Truth and Deliverance Ministries, Petersburg, VA, eulogist. Interment to follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park.

The family will assemble 12:00 Noon the day of the service and receive friends at 513 St. Luke Street, Petersburg, VA.
