I miss his smiling but spot on daily insights couched in humor and broad thinking every day.

I believe he´s smiling at this now and readying a cutting retort.

Marie, Bubba and I were sorry to hear of your lost. May the Lord be with you and your family during this time. I know you will cherrish the wonderful memories of the past 36 years. I was remembering yesterday, when I read Denise's email, about the trip we all took to Florida many years ago. Those were good memories and I know you have many more. will miss my cousin very much,we grew up together,he was like a brother to me.i spend a lot of time on the road w/my job,and would talk to gearld on the cell phone,he would say come by and pick me up some time ,i think he really would enjoy seein the country with me.i only wish i had done that sooner.livin in atlanta we really weren't able to see each other that much, but one has to realize that w/ my family here and his their,we live different life styles.i will cherish and remember our childhood ,as he has reminded me of.i'm sure that god has taken him into his arms and blessed his sole,he workes in strange ways,i too was in his arms last year but for some reason he released me to help carry on his work, now he has a special place for gearld, i look forward to seein him again in the future but for now he's in great hands.

Oh, my friend is gone to a much better place. We suffered together at Sheltering Arms, St. Francis Hospital, rehabed together, had three meals a day, laughed and talked. He was already my niece's husband, but we were a lot closer and loved each other even more after our illnesses. He was a gentle, caring, lovable man who I will never forget. He always told the staff at Sheltering arms that whenever I called to check on him, he would tell me that we needed to have lunch together, but he didn't realize that I would go so far as to break my hip for us to eat together. Rest in peace - I will love you forever.
