Harold Mottesheard Obituary
He was the son of the late Lloyd D. and Alene Bishop Mottesheard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Reba Mottesheard; a daughter, Elaine Lippencott; four brothers, Lloyd Jr., Ralph, Bobby, and Neal Mottesheard; and one sister, Evanglene Jacobs.
Mr. Mottesheard was a United States Army Veteran. He was retired from Honeywell after 27 years of service, a former member of Hopewell Moose Lodge, and a member of First Christian Church in Hopewell.
He is survived by three daughters, Carrie Branch and husband, Bill, Diana Wray and husband, John, Vickie Bubnich and husband, Robert, and son-in-law, Don Lippencott; a brother, Billy Ray Mottesheard; nine grandchildren, Chad and Todd Branch, B.J., Chris and wife Courtney, and Tish Lippencott, Jared and wife Nikki, and Raven Wray, Bob Jr. and Joey Bubnich; and ten great- grandchildren, Rebecca Branch, and Mckenzie Lippencott of Virginia, and eight great-grandchildren living in Colorado; and special caregivers Doris Williams and Yolanda Wilkins.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Bobby Lane officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome, or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Richmond, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
