Helen Pardoe Obituary

Helen Elizabeth Pardoe, 73, of Prince George died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, in Johnston-Willis Medical Center. She was born in Chambersburg, Pa. Mrs. Pardoe was a member of AARP, Colonial Heights VIPs and a member of First Congregational Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence E. and Bernice Truax Carbaugh, her husband, Irvin W. Pardoe.

Surviving are her daughter, Vicki L. Hopper and husband, John; a son, Robert W. Pardoe; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Debra, Christina, Christopher, Stephanie and Brandon; and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, in the Hopewell funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Catron, pastor of First Congregational Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com
