I met Horace through amateur radio and although I really never got to know him, I was looking forward to our annual breakfast in February in order to do so.
My sincere condolences go out to the Dickerson family.

I also graduated with Horace from Peabody in 1966. I will always remember him as a team mate and friend as we both played for the mighty Peabody Lions. May he sleep in peace. (Charles T. Vaughan - Sacramento, CA)

Please accept my condolences at this time of your loss. I have had the priveledge of meeting Horace and working with him at VDOT. Horace was loving and kind and I really enjoyed meeting him when I first came to VDOT, he was very kind to me, and was also well liked. He then retired from VDOT and I have not spoken to him since, but he was always appreciated for his kindness. My thoughts and prayers do go out to you all, may you find comfort in the time of your need .
