Cousin Avis:
Rev. Stainback had such a beautiful soul. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have ever lasting life." May GOD continue to bless and keep YOU in the days ahead.

No words can lessen the sorrow and hurt that you feel at this time. The memory of a wonderful husband and father and the grace of a loving God will see you through. May the prayers and support of your extended family serve to encourage you through this time and the days to come.
My mother, Rosa Ellis joins me in sending much love to cousin Avis and your family.

Aunt Avis and other family members:
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May you find comfort in knowing that Uncle Howard had a tremendous impact on the lives of countless people. His calm, gentle spirit, ability and willingness to share the Word, and overall Godly character served as an example for many. And Uncle Howard did all of this while being sharp as a tack!! :-)
I remember a few years back I made a comment to him about his being impeccably dressed while lounging around the house. He simply told me "Baby you must be ready. You never know when you might have to go somewhere." As I reflect on that conversation now, I have comfort in knowing that Uncle Howard kept himself ready out only in terms of outward appearance, but more importantly for eternal life. Thank you for imparting this and other life lessons!
Much Love... Kimberly
