Ibra Nelson Obituary
He is survived by two sons, Kem Nelson (Cheryl) of Waxhaw, N.C., and and Keith Nelson (Shari) of Richmond; eight grandchildren, Tyler (Katie), Kyle, Meredith, Lohryn Post (Jonathan), Kaitlyn, Gracie, Andrew and Thomas; four stepgrandchildren, Christa Barnes (James), Kimberly, Stephanie and Jake Honor; one sister, Shirley Bruffey of Clifton Forge.
A memorial service will be held at Huguenot Road Baptist Church, 10525 W. Huguenot Road, Richmond, VA 23235, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010. Memorial donations may be made to Huguenot Road Baptist Church, Hospice of Union County (N.C.), or Wesley Chapel (N.C.) Fire Department.

Dear Nelson Family,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of I.T.
I had the honor of meeting and working with him at Virginia Power many years ago. He was the nicest, kindest man I have ever met. He was so proud of his boys and it showed in every story he told me about the two of you. The world is a far better place for his being here and he will be sorely missed. You all are in my prayers.
