Ilse E. Eudailey, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at her residence. Born in Giessen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Frieda Burkert Eckhardt, and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ralph B. "Pete" Eudailey.

Mrs. Eudailey was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, and a retired stock room manager with AAFES at Fort Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Monika Eudailey of Chesterfield; her son, Ralph C. "Chris" Eudailey and wife, Karen of Chesterfield; two granddaughters, Jennifer N. Kroon and husband, Matthew of Clarksville, Tenn., and Brooke E. Honaker and husband, Alan of Chesterfield; three sisters, Waltraud Bender and husband, Hans, Christa Schaefer and husband, Horst, and Monika Wiegand, all of Germany; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Rev. Scott Price officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at the funeral home.
