Mr. James E. Anderson, also known as "Boo" and "JC", was born on Oct. 16, 1965, to Margie Renee Anderson. He was educated in Prince George's County Maryland Public Schools. He was employed by Howard Johnson Hotels until his illness.

He leaves behind one devoted companion of 25 years, Benita Tabron of Landover, Md.; three brothers, George C. Anderson Jr. and James N. Frenzley, both of Petersburg, Va., and Thomas F. Anderson of Hopewell, Va.; two sisters, Miriam Gaines of Suffolk, Va., and Kathy Hunter of Petersburg, Va.; four foster sisters, Mable Ridley of Carson, Va., Mildred Holmes of Ettrick, Va., Lula Griffin and Dorothy Walker, both of Petersburg, Va.; two uncles, Charles Tucker of Troy, N.Y., and Henry L. Branch of White Plains, Md.; one great-aunt, Margie Caldwell of Petersburg, Va.; two devoted cousins, Debra and Garland Yates of Cheverly, Md., and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, family and friends.
A service of love and remembrance for Mr. James E. Anderson will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg, Va.; the Rev. Danielle Moore Winn, pastor of Living Waters International Ministies, Colonial Heights, Va.
