Mr. John Louis Taylor, 65, of Prince George County departed this life Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Southside Regional Medical Center.

John was a former employee of Stone Container with eight years of service.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, the late Anthony James Taylor Sr. and Rosa Bud Johnson-Bolling Taylor; brothers, Robert W. Taylor, Berkeley Taylor (infant) and William Paul Taylor; sister, Virginia Louise Taylor Greene.
He is survived by: three sons, Orrin Peete of Champaign, Ill., John Wayne Taylor of Hopewell, Alvin Louise Taylor of Prince George; two daughter, Glenita Michelle Holloway of Washington, and Dekimia Denise Hosken of Prince George; two brothers, Richard (Dick) Taylor, Anthony James Taylor Jr; four sisters, Rosa Bud Taylor Blanding (Ulysses), Mary Taylor Blanding, Dorothy Mae Taylor Throne (Plummer) and Patricia Taylor-Robinson (Jerome); 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; six aunts; two uncles; host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends, among devoted friends, Eddie Gants of Prince George, Isaac Robinson of New York and Bobby Holloway.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Glory Multicultural, 11665 James River Drive, North Prince George, Apostle Haywood James, officiate, and Pastor Dominick Holloway, eulogy. Interment will follow at Harrison Grove Church Cemetery. The family will assemble 11:15 a.m. at Turner-Bland Funeral Home.
