Keith Crump Obituary

Keith Randolph Crump Sr., 63, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Crump. Mr. Crump was a member of Hatcher Memorial Church, Richmond. He was a retired engineer with Dominion Virginia Power, and was a member of the National Railway Historical Society, Old Dominion Chapter.

Mr. Crump is survived by two sons, Keith R. (Randy) Crump Jr. of Lakeland, Fla., and Ronald A. Crump of Glen Allen; a daughter, Angela Michelle Darling of Magnolia, Texas; five grandchildren, Jamie Crump, Jessica Crump, Jasmine Crump, Derek Darling and Sara Darling; his parents, Charles and Phyllis Crump of Colonial Heights; two brothers, Kurt and Hugh Crump of Colonial Heights; and a sister, Christine McDaniel of Colonial Heights.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Hatcher Memorial Church, 2300 Dumbarton Ave., Richmond, VA 23228, with the Rev. J. Michael Poole officiating. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Railway Historical Society, Old Dominion Chapter, P.O. Box 8583, Richmond, VA 23226. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
