To All Members of the Lester Family,
My heart has been heavy since hearing the sad news this weekend. Keith was my very first crush at the skating rink at age 11--so cute and clean cut, and that SMILE. I'll always remember the fun we all had during that very simple time in our lives. May God Bless you all with peace and faith.

Uncle Sonny, Aunt Audrey, Billy, Richard and Pam, my prayers and sympathy are with you. Keith was always a fun loving rascal as a boy. Years ago when we moved to Texas, I brought with me a jacket that was one of his hand-me-downs. Wearing it was like getting a hug.
Seeing him scowl when Grandma called him "Keitheeeeeeee" always brought a smile to my face and I will forever remember him as 'little Keitheeeeeeee'.
I know that he grew to be a fine man and that Diane and his children will always feel his loss.
May God be with you all and give you comfort and peace in your time of sorrow. God Bless.

Lester Family,
We were all sad to hear of Keith's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this tragic time. God be with you all. Growing up with Keith and the entire Lester family was wonderful. Growing up in Warrington Heights was the best. We had the best group of kids all in one subdivision. No one can take those fun childhood memories away. I remember as a little girl having the biggest crush on him and couldn't wait to ride my bike down the big hill to see Pam with hopes Keith would be home. All the fun times at the skating rink and our families watching baseball games together and playing cup ball behind Noldes Bakery. I was happy to see him this year on Christmas Eve in the mall shopping, his smiling face, his grin was the best, we chatted hugged and wished both our families a very Merry Christmas. I pray for you all as he will be missed and loved by all.

Love,
Sheri (Young)& Jeff Hamilton, Tracy Young Koontz & Hank Young, Mike and Randy Traylor, Henry Young and Peggy Bolster. Our deepest sympathy from our family to yours.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had personally spoken with Keith several times over the past few months about his family. Please know that Keith loved his family more than anything else on this earth. I am so deeply saddened at the loss of a fellow Deacon and Christian Brother. I will always remember the smile, kind words, and the love for his children he seemed to always express when we talked. Sonny....you done good brother! May God wrap his tender arms around you all and remember; “For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.” Ps 22:24

We are so saddened to hear of your loss. Though I went to high school with Diane, I remember seeing Keith and Pam at the pool everyday in Sutherland where I grew up. Then when my daughter, Rachel, started pre school, all I heard about was Miss Diane and Mr. Keith. Keith always smiled at her, and I told her that I knew him when I was her age. He helped out at the daycare so much, to this day she thinks he's the photographer there.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was very saddened to read the news of Keith's passing today. It is not often that I check the progress index, but when I do it is the obituaries I go to read. I have not lived in Virginia for many years and recently thought of the Keith family when visiting my great aunt Ercelle Young. I was shocked to find that her grandaughter Noelle had married the very child that I remember Rosemary carrying so many years ago! It had brought many fond memories of Moe and Billy. I also remember long before that...skating..always going skating and waiting ..and hoping that Keith would ask me to skate on "couples only". I am only sorry to have never known him as a grown man, father and husband...just a young boy. From all the many posts it is evident that he grew to be a great man. I am sorry for your loss.

God Knows

You have my deepest sympathy,
but it really doesn't help.
Your grief goes beyond
what words can express.

There's nothing anyone can say,
and nothing we can do
to heal your broken heart
or take away your pain.

Let God take you in His arms
and cover you with His love.
He knows the depth of your grief
and only He can give you peace.
He knows it will take time
for your heart to heal, and
your loved one has a place
that no one else can fill.

If there's any comfort let it be in this,
your loved one is with Jesus,
in a home that's filled with bliss.
There are no tears in Heaven,
no more heartache and no pain,
only love and happiness
for all eternity.

We must go on living and
do the best we can,
then when Jesus calls our name
we will be with them again.

May the family find comfort in the many great memories shared with Keith.Praying that God will embrace the family and may they draw strength needed to heal.Keith was loved and will be sadly missed by all...
