Kenneth Thompson Obituary
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Coleman Thompson, and is survived by three sons, Robert Daley Thompson and wife, Connie, of Archer, Fla., Maynard Irving Thompson and wife, Judy, of Dewitt, and Ronald Kenneth Thompson and wife, Shannon, of DeWitt; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, George A. Thompson of DeWitt.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Rocky Run United Methodist Church, DeWitt, Va., with interment in Asbury Cemetery, McKenney, Va. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Run United Methodist Church, 14925 Glebe Road DeWitt, VA 23841.

My husband and I met Mr. Thompson about 20 years ago. We were stuck in the mud near his home and he towed us out with his pickup truck. My husband did some plumbing for him, and he would come by and drop off sweet potatos. We enjoyed knowing him and are very sorry for your loss.
