Leonard Prince Obituary

Leonard M. Prince, 56, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Prince. Mr. Prince was a veteran in the United States Navy, and was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Paul L. Prince of Matoaca; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Prince, and Sarah Ann Prince, both of Matoaca; his mother, Elsie Wood Prince; two brothers, Richard Prince of New York, and Robert Tucker of Colonial Heights; a sister, Robbin Jean Prince of New York; his former spouse and caregiver, Linda Beville of Matoaca; three grandchildren, Alexis, Danté, and Savannah.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Hyles Baptist Church, 7220 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield, VA, with the Rev. Jim Burton officiating. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, VA. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
